2011 Membership

To:          Current and Prospective NYCSA Members

From:    NYCSA Board of Directors

Date:     February 14, 2011

Re:         2011 Membership

Thank you to everyone for your contributions, making 2010 such a successful year!  The Crazy Eddie luncheon, the golf outing, and the holiday party each received great feedback.  As we look back on 2010, we also want to acknowledge and thank our outgoing president, Mike Fleming, for all that he has done.

Moving on to 2011, we would like to introduce the new Board of Directors.

                President – Scott Bourdon

                Vice President – Joe Damiano

                Treasurer – Michael Marino

                Secretary – Kevin Walsh

This is what you can expect for the current year from the NYCSA.

  • We will be hosting five events this year.
    • March luncheon with a presentation from a Senior Surety Executive
    • Spring luncheon with the topic being “Perspective from a Contractor”
    • Summer charity event
    • Golf outing at Middle Bay Country Club on October 6th
    • Holiday party and toy drive in December
  • In the interest of making the NYCSA stronger, a survey will be sent out  by the end of February to gather member feedback.  Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts.
  • We are proud to introduce a new website for the NYCSA, www.nycsuretyassociation.org; it is up and running.  Take a look and pass along any feedback you may have.  On the website, you will be able to pay your membership dues and event fees using a credit card, and see all the news and events of the NYCSA.

Lastly, the annual dues of $250 will remain the same as last year.  Feel free to make your payment through the website or by sending a check through the mail.

Thank you very much!  We look forward to a good year in 2011.

Don’t forget to update the National SFAA office with the new website address, + the updated Board members.
